Turkey is the first country most people check for All-on-4, and Serbia is the one they find when they look for the same result with a shorter flight and a smaller operation. This is a head-to-head for full-arch work (All-on-4 and All-on-6), plus crowns and veneers. For the wider comparison with Hungary and Croatia, see the country-by-country guide.
Price: where the gap is real and where it is not
Our prices are on the price list. The Turkish figures are typical published ranges for 2026 and vary with what a package includes.
| Treatment | Belgrade (us) | Turkey |
|---|---|---|
| All-on-4 (per jaw) | €4,500 | €4,000 to €8,000 |
| All-on-6 (per jaw) | €5,500 | €5,000 to €9,000 |
| Zirconium crown | €250 | €180 to €350 |
| Veneer (per tooth) | €300 | €200 to €400 |
| Dental implant | €390 | €400 to €800 |
The lowest Turkish number is usually a package with a basic implant system and a lighter bridge. The highest is a premium clinic. Belgrade sits inside that range, so the honest conclusion is that the prices are comparable, and the real differences are elsewhere.
All-on-4: what to compare besides the price
- What is in the price. Ask whether it includes the CT scan, the temporary bridge, the permanent bridge and the follow-up. Ours includes all four: €4,500 per jaw.
- Implant system and passport. You should be given the brand, size and position of every implant in writing. A dentist at home will need it if anything ever has to be repaired.
- Two trips, not one. A reliable All-on-4 has a healing period of three to six months between the temporary and the permanent bridge. A clinic offering the final bridge in a week is using a different protocol, and you should ask why it suits your bone.
- The surgeon. A named dentist, not a brand. Ours is Dr Bojan Perduv.
Crowns and veneers: the over-treatment question
The main complaint about high-volume packages anywhere is more treatment than needed: 20 crowns on teeth that needed six, or veneers on teeth that were healthy. Dental associations in the UK and Germany have both warned about it. A cheaper number per tooth means little if more teeth are prepared. When you compare quotes, compare the number of teeth and the reason for each, not the price per unit. See veneers vs crowns vs bonding for how much tooth each option removes.
Distance and what happens if something goes wrong
Belgrade is two to three hours by air from London, Frankfurt, Vienna and Zurich. Istanbul and Antalya are typically four hours or more from Northern Europe. With a two-trip treatment the second flight and any correction visit cost less time and money on the shorter route. EU, UK, US, Canadian and Australian citizens need no visa for stays up to 90 days in Serbia.
Consumer protection
Neither Turkey nor Serbia is in the EU, so EU consumer law does not apply to either. In both cases, get the warranty terms and the treatment plan in writing before you pay a deposit.
When Turkey is the better choice
- You want an all-inclusive package with hotel and transfers in one bundle at the lowest possible price, and you have checked the clinic's named dentists and independent reviews.
- You live closer to Turkey than to the Balkans.
When Serbia is the better choice
- You want to deal directly with the dentist who treats you, rather than a patient coordinator.
- You need two trips and want the shorter flight for each.
- You want a conservative plan and the freedom to be told which teeth to leave alone.
Frequently asked questions
Is All-on-4 cheaper in Turkey or Serbia?
The ranges overlap. Serbia is €4,500 per jaw with the bridge included; Turkish packages run from about €4,000 to €8,000 depending on the clinic and what is included. Compare itemised plans, not headline prices.
Are veneers and crowns cheaper in Turkey?
Per unit the lowest Turkish prices are slightly under ours, the upper range is above. The difference is small compared with the saving against Germany, the UK or Switzerland, so the plan matters more than the price per tooth.
Is it safe to get dental work in Turkey or Serbia?
Both countries have regulated dentistry and university-trained dentists. The risk lies in picking a clinic on price alone, without checking who treats you and what the warranty says.
